mother's day

Today is Mother's Day and I am especially grateful for my amazing mom today! She is always there for me when I need somebody to talk to but is also somebody who can make me laugh. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father decided to send me to her because I don't know where I would be without My mom! She has taught me to love everybody and how to build a strong home centered around the gospel and love. She is the greatest example to me and I want to have my own family and children just like her! I hope she knows how much I really appreciate her! Happy Mother's Day mama! I love you.

We stopped by grandma's to say happy Mother's Day and she had pretty lilacs.

The last stop we made tonight was coopie's cemetery. We watched as the sun went down and it was a beautiful orange sunset. Coop ordered it for us on Mother's Day. It was an amazing end to an amazing day.

Today is my bestest friends birthday! She's finally thirteen! I'm so grateful for Daph in my life and I look up to her example. I love how she is so fun and comfortable around people she's never met before! I know that I can talk to her about anything and she always knows how to make me laugh! Hope this is your best birthday yet! Love you!

Summer Dreamin'

Today in all this rain I am finding myself so ready for summer. It's plain and simple. School just needs to be over. I mean, this has been an awesome year! I loved it actually! Meeting new friends, being able to see old friends, having a set schedule, and having the best 7th grade year! But by this time every school year, I just want summer.

swimming, sunshine, shorts, sandals, popsicles, vacations, sleeping in and time to do whatever I want! Doesn't that just sound magical!

It is going to be so much fun! I just cannot wait.

There is one thing that I'm not looking forward to though. One of my bestest friends ever is going to Europe. Nope, not for just a week or two. The whole summer : (

It is awesome that she gets to go! It really is! But we will miss her here.

Hey all! I'm back again to share some exciting news! So you know how I didn't make it on Student council? Well yesterday Mr. Schmidt called and said, "I want to add 4 people to student council and I want you to be one if them, so what do you say?" Daph and Kam were so excited they started screaming! I was excited too! I said, "I would LOVE to!" I am the newest member of Student Council 2013-14! I am so excited for next year and all the wonderful things it will hold for my 8th grade year! Sorry to anybody who didn't make it on stud co. Everybody deserves to be on! Well, until next time.

hey all, my name is kennedy. my sister hunter made me start this blog, and i don't even know what i am going to post about, but i hope that you follow along- this will be fun!

|| a little bit about myself:
i am the second girl in my family- fourth third child down (sorry, it was late and hunter was typing).
i am quiet until you get to know me, then i'm basically the most fun person you've ever met.
i love to ski, swim, hang out with friends, and make peace around my house.
babies are my favorite thing and i can't wait to be a mama one day.
i am going into 8th grade this next year, and although i didn't make student council (sniff), i know i will have so much fun making new friends and memories.
summer is my favorite time of year and i love to live in my swimming pool.
my sister is my best friend and i don't know what i am going to do when she leaves for college in the fall (okay, maybe she added that).
